A local guy who I considered the best blues harp player in the area let me sit in for a couple of songs. When I was done, he said. "I guess I know who to call when I need to go on vacation."

Once at a charity event, I was playing (jamming) with a popular area band and country star Brad Paisley jumped onstage and played guitar with us for about 10 minutes. The next day found us both at the same event and he told me I was a great harp player. I knew he was just being polite, but that didn't stop me from enjoying his remark.   BTW, he said he tried to learn harp, but found it too hard.
