When I was 24 (I'm 38 now) a 17 year old Mike Keller would sit in with us.
He played with a Stevie Ray vibe, rocking the blues with a million notes.
Everything he played received thunderous applause due to his being the kid
more than his playing.  As time went on I would watch his gigs and be
floored at how he continued to get better and better.
