[Harp-L] pentatonic SCALE-2ND POSITION

... I play a lot of first position so I am not hugely familiar with my scales in 2nd position, but do most people play this scale along with the "blues scale"... the blues scale is quite different than this, but would you play both scales???

Grab any diatonic harp. Play Auld Lang Syne in first position, easy peasy. Then discover that you can play it in two other keys without bending, getting all the notes. If you know Dirty Old Town you can do the same. Both pentatonic tunes.  You will be using first, second and twelfth positions. There you go, practising getting out of first. What's not to like!
