Except for bold vibrato, I haven't found a chorus I liked on harmonica
because it filters some frequencies that seem to hollow out the harp tone.
Chorus is created with a moving time delay combined with the original tone.
It has motion because the time delay is varying. Detuning is fixed. The
second tone is stationary and creates a "standing wave" when combined with
the original.
I do like detuning for the sound of Micky Raphael's tremolo harps with
Willie Nelson.
