Re: [Harp-L] Peter Ruth at SPAH (WAS SPAH - who's going?)

For sure !  "Fishin' Blues" became one of the "standard" songs that my harp playing friends and I would play together !

And I never knew how cool the song "Shortin' Bread" was until I heard Madcat play it.

But all the songs he played were great... I still remember that "rhumba-fied" St Louis Blues song...  and "Too Late", "Scratch My Back", "Baby Please Don't Go", "500 Miles", "Hit the Road Jack", "Sweet Home Chicago", Mellow Down Easy", "Off the Wall"... what'd I forget ?

It was quite awhile ago...

I second that Ken!

I loved the "Fishin' Blues" then (among others), and still play/sing it today with rack-mounted harp and ukulele.
