Re: [Harp-L] On radio & webcast Aug 2

I really don't know, but I suspect not. KCSB isn't too sophisticated in that dept; but maybe a check on KCSB's web site would tell you? Anyhow thanks for your interest!

cheers,

Will there be a possibility to download it later on? You know, for those of us who work 9-5...

Dear harp pals,

Am pleased to announce that I'll be guesting on KCSB on Monday, Aug. 2nd, from 2-4PM PDT, on my pal Steve Daniels' radio show. No live performance this time- instead it'll be "Blues 45 Day." I'm bringing in a huge box of the most obscure, bizarre and wicked blues 45s in my collection, and we'll be spinning and blabbing about 'em for two hours.

Mark your calendars! This will be available as a LIVE WEBCAST FEED at http://www.kcsb.org/webcast/ (On my iMac, the stream that works best is 128-bit stream-RealAudio; of course your mileage may vary.) For those of you in Santa Barbara & environs, it's 91.9 FM, commercial-free public radio.

Much of the stuff we'll be playing has never been reissued - on CD or LP - so this will be a chance to catch some very unusual blues and American roots music, perhaps for the first time. As always,
thanks again for this opportunity to blast small batches of pixels into your Artificial Intelligence Processors, and good wishes to you all. PS: obligatory harp content: naturally much of this stuff will feature harp. :)

 slainte,
 Tom
