A few more music biz questions for you gigging pros on the list.  Been
reading up on consumer lawsuits against entertainers and venues,
particularly the Great White disaster up in New England.

 

How many of you regularly use a performance contact?

 

If you do, does that contract contain language making the venue swear that
they have all of the necessary inspections, licenses and insurance?

 

If you do, does that contract contain language holding the artist harmless
for peripheral events or actions other than their own?

 

How many of you, if any, carry your own separate liability insurance?
