I have "made" one of them here in Tulsa.  Wasn't hard.  Everything about him
screamed off duty cop from the heavy shoes and over width gun supportable
belt to the too well starched and pressed shirt for a blue collar guy.
Looked like a country plain clothes deputy who had just taken off his hat,
gun and cuffs and left them in his car.  Stood out like a lady of the
streets at choir practice.  Showed great interest what was going on but had
zero knowledge of music.   Just wasn't a "musical person," not even a fan.
But, he was paying rapt attention to what was going on at the mic.
