[Harp-L] keith doder
It's surprising that so many know of Keith Doder outside of StLouis.
To me Keith was my inspiration, didn't try to draw a lot of attention, not flashy, just an outstanding harp player. Others talked about harp man so & so... but I always was quick to mention Keith's name. To me he was it .. the harp man!
It's to bad that he never became better known. Hooking up with the Jimmy Rogers Band I thought would give him more exposure outside of StLouis, but he never did quit make it bigger than StLouis.
Another harp guy is gone, and will be missed.

Sad news. Keith Doder was a great harmonica player & a really special
person. I first met him at SPAH & we've been friends ever since. I will
miss him.

Proficient with diatonic and chromatic he played with several area blues bands ,including his own Blue City Band as well as a European tour with Jimmy Rogers.Generous to a fault, he'll be missed.
