I've found SP 20 to feel the best for me and are all i use but never looked for
Minor tuned? there are several local music store i go to, sorry for the
ignorence on insturments but i would ask for a SP 20 in a "C natural minor"?
most of the minors songs they call out are either D or F minor.
Thanks
Todd

Todd. IMO;
The best and easiest way to go is get some natural minor tuned
Special 20's from Hohner. It's the most like what you're most
familiar with. Playing in 2nd pos (2 draw is your root). Sense it's
minor tuned, you wont have to think much, just react. All of the
notes are right. (same thing works if you play them in 1st pos.,
1 & 4 blow are your root)
The next easiest thing is play in 3rd pos, 1 & 4 draw are the root.
The way to select the correct key is; lets say the song is in
D minor. Just go a whole step down from D and you have C. Select
a C harp and use 1 & 4 draw just like you would 2 draw in 2nd pos.
Hope that helps.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around what harp to use when the
band calls out a song in minor's or major's.For example Ohio by Neil Young in D
minor, or Dancing in the moon light by Van the man in F minor. I typically go
right to cross harp (2nd position) for most everything we do, if that doesn't
sound right I just go through every harp in my case until I find the key that's
least offensive. I have looked at circles of fifths and other charts but don't
get why they just don't include majors and minors in the typical harmonica
position charts, I guess I just don't get it. do they even relate to the key of
harp or is it more about the notes you play?
