[Harp-L] Reception, Performance and Film at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame Tulsa

Please join the Little Joe McLerran Quartet on Wednesday, July 14th, from
5:30-8:30 pm at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, 111 E. 1st St., Tulsa, OK
for a very special event.  Having recently returned from their tour to the
Middle East for the US State Department and Jazz at Lincoln Center on The
Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad, the Little Joe Quartet will give a
performance and brief presentation about their experience, followed by a
showing of Robbie Mack's documentary film about their tour entitled "Shuffle
Diplomacy".  The Jazz Hall of Fame will be presenting its photo exhibit of
"America's Jazz Ambassadors Embrace the World".  The Rhythm Road is a
revival of the Jazz Ambassadors program. 

 

Hors d'oeuvres will be served and bar service will be available.  The event
is free and open to the public.  Beat the heat and come on down for some
cool blues!!
