Re: [Harp-L] windsavers
I hope to use my video camera connected to a TV set to make
the valve-replacement and pressure-test demonstrations
visible to the audience. That depends on SPAH and/or the
hotel making the requested TV set available. I can run a
tape in my camera to catch those close-ups. However, I won't
be otherwise available to act as videographer.
I have no objection to anyone else recording the
proceedings. I think SPAH allows video recording in
everything but the big evening shows. However, I don't plan
to organize the program specifically for videotaping.
Spontaneous participation of the attendees is one of the
purposes of a seminar.
Editing raw footage into a coherent movie is a lot of work.
A better video can be made when that is the only thing being
done. Then you can stop to prepare the next scene and do
retakes if something doesn't go well. That obviously won't
be possible at a live seminar.

Vern;
For one whom the cost of attending SPAH is
prohibitive, I would love to see this seminar videoed and on
Youtube or anywhere else I could view it.
