Subject: [Harp-L] re:harp case

cool...as far as it being 'light-weight'. I'd wondered about that in my
previous post. The big old grey one I'd bought a few years ago would be far too
heavy to tote...this one is much more modern and good-looking.

Look at the one on ebay..i think it's like yours, although with a couple of
flaws..

Using 'anything' as a harp case has long been a topic here. I got an
amazing tooled-mexican leather 'train case' I've outfitted for harmonicas..small
enough for me to carry (and looks very cool). For a while Jason Ricci even used
a small, metallic outfitted makeup/train case (I've tried one of those
too)...there are so many fun cases and bags one can adapt for harp use..I'm always
on the lookout for small holders for my chromatics I won't have to pay a
fortune for (instead of those big, unwieldy boxes).

Plano 3258 flipsider

great pic & descript at walleyefan

veeeeeeeery light and veeeeeeery sturdy. i have zero problem walking all
over 6th street in austin to hit various jams.
also: i do have a shelf thing that fits on a mic stand for actual gigs when
i bring all my gear. i like that a lot, too. but for a sit-in or jam, i'm
just bringing this case. it truly is incredible!

Somebody just wrote about a fishing tackle box he bought for a harp
case. If you read this, could you send me the name and where you got
it? I lost the post.

Thanks.
