veeeeeeeery light and veeeeeeery sturdy.  i have zero problem walking all over 6th street in austin to hit various jams.
also: i do have a shelf thing that fits on a mic stand for actual gigs when i bring all my gear.  i like that a lot, too.  but for a sit-in or jam, i'm just bringing this case.  it truly is incredible!
