Hello Folks. I have been receiving many emails these past three
months asking me if I am going to conduct a harmonica seminar on
"Country & Bluegrass", along with a list of specials guests
presenters.? I am?sorry to report that I can not do it this year,
because of so many health problems I am going through at this
moment. I will be in and out of two hospitals for a series of
tests, and some surgery. I wanted to be at the SPAH convention?this
year, but my health comes first. I?had invited Charlie McCoy;
Jimmie Fadden & Buddy Greene a few months ago to be in my line up
of guest presenters, but they all have other commitments during the
time of this convention. Hopefully I will be in much better health
to conduct my seminar next year, and hopefully I can have these
great harmonica players along with me, plus?a few other guests?to
help preserve the education?and the artistry of ?"Country &
Bluegrass Harmonica"?at the SPAH convention. I highly recommend
that you seek out the fol!
lowing harmonica players that I know that will be?at the
convention this August,?and can help answer your questions about
playing in the styles of?"Country & Bluegrass" harmonica: PT
Gazell; Cara Cooke; Lonnie Joe Howell and Jelly Roll Johnson.?Have
fun & enjoy, and God Bless.?? Tulsa Read
Sorry that you're still feeling poorly
I just got home from doing 4 hours of country/western. How are you
going to do that at spah when there is no country/western band? How
does one do I really Don't Want to Know, Rocky-Top, Bobbie McGhee,
On The Road Again, You Don't Have to Call Me Darlin, Darlin, Oh,
Lonesome Me, Put Another Log on The Fire, etc. with no back-up.
