Is there a better all-around harmonica player than Rob Paparozzi? Rob
plays great diatonic, and not "just" blues, either...a variety of
styles...killer Butterfield stuff, too...and Rob is a fine jazz chromatic

never will :-(

Ya'know Bob, I'm SO glad you brought this up. I was tempted to write something, but I didn't want it to look like a Paisano admiration society. But since YOU started it, I can admit that I have made it no secret that I love what Rob does. His style is right up my alley, he chooses good stuff, and he's not boring. He puts personality into his work. I listened to some stuff the other day by ANOTHER (relatively) famous guy who left me cold. Jesus, what an under-rated player. I mean, I fully realize that he IS a 'named' player, but his versatility goes beyond that. Chromo, Diat, vocal, and he moves like he's alive. Doesn't stand there like a corpse. The whole package.
