I saw Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers this past Wednesday night. As usual, he blew me away! Unfortunately, there was a pretty small crowd. Rod's tone was awesome, playing through a tweed Fender Twin and a blonde Concert. The band was cooking. Tonight, their show will be taped for NPR's Blues Stage radio program.
