[Harp-L] Stage Time (was: Piano vs. Guitar vs. Harp)

Always good to hear from my musical cohorts!
Time spent on stage does accumulate—and you become more in tune.
I think everyone is different, and for some, the harmonica comes easy.
I like it, but it’s not my strength, really.
But most folks who hear me can’t really tell, except that I don’t sound like a blues guy (you know, the amplified Chicago sound).
I can relax with the guitar.
Piano can be easy, but again, you have to put in the time. I’m thinking of Leon Russell—he had to overcome physical limitations, but most folks couldn’t tell, they just thought he rocked!

Otherwise what's the point?Semi-pro harp player with 30 years of stage play. 50 years playing guitar. 45 years playing piano. I have more cumulative experience on this list than 99% of you. I will say this: piano is 10 times easier than guitar and guitar is 10 times easier than harmonica. Peace out.
