[Harp-L] Suzuki Sub30

The X Reed is still a Sub30, in my book. I have a heap of variations:
X reeds, Tom Halchak's over-valve plates etc.
A Sub30 with valves added is fine in my book. I don't even care about embossing.
I feel quite abandoned after all the time and effort I've put into the beasts.
Recently, Brendan offered to sell me X reed combs, valves, etc., but
then he just didn't reply to my offer to take him up.

If X Reeds were still being made at $300 a pop, they'd be my solution to playing the diatonic harp chromatically. I agree a double reed bend on a well made harp sounds better than an overblow. But I prefer overblows to a SUB 30 by many miles.
