[Harp-L] All summer long Kid Rock

Ian, I'd maybe listen to the guitar solos in Sweet Home Alabama and
Werewolves of London and quote them, especially that ascending triad at the
end of the solo in WWOL. If any musicians are paying attention, they'll get
the reference.

If you really want to sound like the guitar solo in the Kid Rock song, I
think you'd play third position on a C harp even though the song is in G;
there's a little commentary on the guitar solo being in D mixolydian in this
(IMHO, very funny) video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8FAbjjB48A

Also, in general, if you're not watching Pat Finnerty's What Makes This Song
Stink - https://www.youtube.com/user/hududhsskso - you're missing out. It's
my favorite thing on YouTube.

Cheers,

Evan

Has anyone done any harmonica solos over this song, I?m looking for some
ideas.

Thanks!
