[Harp-L] What happened to Dave Payne at Elk River Harmonicas?

I just ran across a 7 year old video by Dave Payne at Elk River Harmonica
where he used a pizza box with a reed cutout to demo how to work on the
harp... embossing, reed alignment, etc.

What ever happened to Dave? I bought a couple of Seydel Blues Solist harps
from him many moons ago and we chatted on the phone a few times.

I think he held a harp festival in his area and was a former school teacher.

Just wondering if he is still around the harmonica scene?
