Years ago I performed Garfield’s Blackberry Blossom at a bluegrass festival, but it was so different from this version that I didn’t even recognize the tune.
Amazing how there are so many variations to these fiddle tunes. I can no longer find my performance on youtube, but this is the version of Garfield’s Blackberry Blossom I know, performed by a young fiddler I’ve recorded with on several albums.
