The problem (as ‘I’ see it) about asking why there isn’t more discussion about playing methods instead of construction is basically:
1… What you’re asking is for experienced players giving up their (possibly only) good tips…for free.  
2… A lot of instruction has to be seen or done in real time. Visually and audibly. Face time is even what I would consider marginal. Unless you have a good internet connection. 
3… A person could spend a lot of time READING how to do something. But 5 minutes with someone like (for instance) Wailin Wood would cancel out hours and hours.
Not capping on your question. Not at all. It WOULD be nice. As a side note, in the good old days players would rather die than divulge any secrets. Things are better now.  :)
