Playing out of tune is a Skill that can be learned, and if you have perfect pitch it's easier to to get the hang of it, but you still can with relative pitch ears as long as your playing truly from the heart. Please don't say it can't be done, because you will discourage the young upcoming players from mastering the ability to play out of tune music, soulfully  - just my 2 flatted cents on the subject :)
