It is in G. The only thing that might seem strange is the last 2 bars of 
the verse go A...C...G. If the riff you are talking about is what the 
guitar 1 is playing, the difficulty is that he is doing double octave 
jumps. In our case that would be going from draw 2 to blow 9 to draw  6 
to blow 9 to draw 6 to blow 5 to blow 9 to blow 5 to blow 5 to blow 9 to 
draw half step 3 to draw 2 to blow 9.
