Matthew,

you may want to check the magnetic harp holder from Farmer Footdrums (
https://www.footdrums.com/harp-holders/). The cradle would have to be
adapted for wider harps (and maybe the additional weight), but if you
contact them I'm sure they can workout a solution for you. In case the
covers of the bass harmonica are not magnetic you can glue some strong and
flat rare earth magnets to the inside of the bottom cover, I did this with
some Suzuki Humming tremolos and it works very well.
