I hope the Harp-L administrators don't mind me posting notice here of a new
specialist harmonica forum. There is no conflict with Harp-L, which I'll
continue to enjoy visiting and contributing to!

Most harmonica forums concentrate on traditional harmonica types, such as
Richter-tuned diatonics and Solo-tuned chromatics. It makes good sense,
because they are the overwhelmingly dominant models. 

However I've always been interested in other approaches. Over the years I've
created some alternative harmonica tunings and designs, some of which have
gained a small following (eg. Paddy Richter, PowerBender, PowerDraw, Lucky
13, AsiaBend etc). Because my stuff is not mainstream, people starting out
with my custom harps or tunings have told me they struggle to find
information to help them with learning, customising and so on. After hearing
this quite often, I thought it would be useful to offer a space for those
who want to share their thoughts/experiences/videos etc on anything related
to it. 

To that end, I've just started a new forum for anyone interested:

I'll be active there and happy to answer questions, offer advice etc. I will
also offer sneak peeks of upcoming harmonica designs and make the forum the
first place to make announcements of new stuff.

There are various boards already set up. Please stop by, register - and feel
