Thank you all for the helpful comments, even the difficult to hear ones.
It's invaluable to get honest feedback and I'm motivated to follow all the
great suggestions. I admit I've been playing by ear and what I can't hear,
I can't know when I'm off pitch. I'm looking forward to improving my
playing and am already signed up for a couple of great workshops in June.
