CORRECTION. Tom Watson is correct. It’s a ‘bone’. Trombone with open mute configuration. Not as bad as open trumpet. With a trombone you can brace the bell of the trombone with left hand while also manipulating the mute. I listened to it the first time for only a few seconds. MYBAD. The right hand works the slide while also holding the instrument up.
