[Harp-L] Suzuki warns against fake harps (Are they fake?)

I respect any business owner's right to protect profits through contracted
distribution. Of course Suzuki doesn't want consumers shopping outside
these lines. If harps are GENUINE Suzuki, then it is the customer's choice
to buy without warranty considerations.

SUZUKI NEEDS TO CLARIFY.

"It has come to our attention that counterfeit Suzuki Harmonicas are being
offered for sale through oversea sellers."
Counterfeit means fake, false, imitation, not genuine.

"Please do not fall victim to these illegal sellers of Suzuki Harmonicas."
This sounds like they are real Suzuki, but sold illegally.

"Our customer service department has recently received phone calls
regarding these fake harmonicas."
FAKE harmonicas.

"...are most likely counterfeit replicas."
"Most likely" is a claim without evidence. They are either counterfeit, OR
replicas. Using both terms would be a redundancy.

Counterfeit harps, and unauthorized distribution are TWO different
concerns. Don't imply the fear of fakes to influence a buyer's decision.
Who will now speak for Suzuki? And will we see this warning re-written?

IRRELEVANT
I play Suzuki Chromatix 14 and LOVE it!
