Procrastination: The new CD by Slide Man Slim and Penny Hanna

This is not just a new CD. This is a work of art. Every facet of this
project was carefully considered. By their own admission the project took
eight years to come to fruition. That¹s the curse and advantage of home
recording and multi instrumental talent. In this case, it was worth every
minute that Slim and Penny poured into it. The engineering is very good as
are the performances.

The whole CD just oozes with slick arrangements and tasty choices. It¹s real
easy to over produce when you have the luxury of working on it when you
want, and play so many instruments as Slim. They successfully avoided this
pitfall and produced a very listenable and enjoyable CD. Penny¹s vocals just
seem to roll without any effort, and are a perfect match to Slim¹s
instrumental work which mirrors that effortlessness.

While there¹s not a weak cut on the CD, there are two that stood out to me.
³Buffalo Wings² a tribute to Norton Buffalo, and ³All I want From You²
which is a tour de force of Slim doing some tasty block chord guitar work
and floating chromatic harmonica. Love this kind of thing....

Get this CD if you want well produced enjoyable music from two very cool
people...hurry!
