[Harp-L] how to cut feeler gauge

What's a good tool to use to cut thin feeler gauge material? I've gotten a few nice tools, reed lifters,  from some professional horn-smashers that I'd like to duplicate. Cutting the thin metal cleanly has never worked for me....any ideas of a good cutting tool to use would be helpful. If bandaids are not part of the equation, that's also a plus.
