I'm beginning to understand music theory, but I need a good course in song
structure.
I wrote a song--tempo 140 bpm, a verse and chorus of harp, a verse and
chorus of organ, then a bridge, then another verse and chorus on the harp,
but the song wound up being only about a minute and a half long.
Adding another verse and chorus of harp sounded wrong. Another verse and
chorus of keys sounded, I don't know, wrong.
I added an introduction, essentially just playing the same verse and
chorus, but in E minor instead of E. I have to listen to it tomorrow to see
if it's any good.
What would Iggy Pop do?
