When I first started in my early teens the store sold me a B harp. Me
thinks that they saw this unsuspecting kid that didn't know A from B from
C. B harps tend to stay in inventory longer than the more popular keys.
Then for my next harp I got sold an E! Not flat keys but "odd" keys for
sure. I loved 'em both and loved their sound. Bought Glovers book and then
started meeting guitar players and learned that F# and B were not the most
popular blues keys. Within a year I had a full set. Shoveled a bunch of
driveways and mowed a lotta lawns to feed my new addiction. It has treated
me well. My drug of choice.
