I agree with everything that Greg said.  I own two Samson Airline systems,
one for me and one for my daughter.

Greg also manufactures custom adapters for your vintage Green Bullet
screw-on connector.  He can make it screw-onto your HI-Z mic, install a
volume control, and transform the signal to a LO-Z XLR output (for the
Samson).  Check Greg's pages on this..
