I think I have the 'reverting back to factory resets' issue solved.
I loaded your patches one at a time, and saved it in X-Edit [device] as
well as hitting the save button on the RP 355.  I made it through two
sessions at an establishment with old wiring and a lot of old flickering
neon signs, without any problems.
I've been playing flute through it, too, using the Audix Fireball, and am
receiving favorable comments.
