Many types and models of harmonicas allow Blow 1 to bend down, such as:
all chromatics
half-valved diatonics
X-Reed harps
Suzuki Sub30
Hohner XB-40
Discrete Comb
Suzuki Overdrive
So you still need to distinguish among bends that go down (closing reed bends, whether single or dual reed) and bends that go up (opening reed bends).

Why not just say "blow bend" or "draw bend"? "Blow bend hole 1" is
obviously an 'overblow' and "Draw bend hole 9" obviously an "overdraw".
There's no need for any other description.
