I think you did a good job describing it. It sounds to me like you are
saying that one should work toward removing the step of keeping time with a
foot since one's internal clock (or clocks) are keeping time anyhow. "Be
the groove". I like that. The result is one less simultaneous process to
perform and track and therefore more time to dedicate to listening and
playing.
