[Harp-L] Sonny Boy II & The Yardbirds

I know that for most of you this is just preachin' to the choir, but just in case there is another like me, having spent the last fifty years in a dark cave, this live album is one of the best performances I've heard. Miller plays with more heart and soul than I've heard in a long time. He may have had a casual relationship with the truth regarding his birth date, use of the name "Sonny Boy", and such, but the fact remains he was a master of his craft. In an era where you find yourself sweeping notes up off the floor for days after a concert by one of the present day masters, his voice, his phrasing, his style is still relevant and brings volumes to my listening table. I only learned about this recording because of a review in an online blues magazine. Apparently it's only available in CD format, something I never buy any more. Mine arrived today from Best Buy and I've played several times since. This is a must have for any Miller fan!
