I have rubbed bees wax under windsavers on my Suzuki Promasters, then smoothed with a razor blade.  Helped reduce sticking.  
 
Love bees wax.  Have also used it seal leaky wood combs, rub on, assemble, hit with a hair drier, tighten screws, problem solved.
