Re: [Harp-L] Feedback destroyer

A friend uses a Behringer feedback destroyer with his sound system which I sometimes operate, and the only drawback I can think of is when it notches too many frequencies and the sound gets "thin." Just do a reset every few numbers and all the frequencies come back. If you wait too long you can notice it. But that's with the input/output of the main stage PA and not just to one on-stage amplifier. So it's a range of frequencies that come from every player on stage. Other than that, it does work nicely.

Anyone ever used a Behringer FBQ2496 feedback destroyer (http://pro- audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-FBQ2496-Feedback- Destroyer-Pro-Feedback-SuppressorParametric-EQ?sku=188954#used)? Does it do the job? Does it have an ill effect on tone? Do you know of others in this price range that you like better?
