Hi Richard,
Appreciate your contributions to FX for harp! You're right: octave down on
harp is so effective!
I play a Korg Pandora PX4D (about $120)
Batteries/AC, all the effects, pitch shifting, filter-wahs, and great Leslie
(rotary) sounds, lighted display, amps, cabinets, slaps, echos, and best of
all: Tap Tempo delay! Fingertip control. Disadvantage: not foot-controlled,
and no whammy foot pedal.
Drew some oohs and aaahs last night at a jam for the organ sounds. One
little box, smaller than a pedal. Easy set-up.
At home for teaching, Pandora gives me drum rhythms and slow-down
sampler/looper, and mic pre-amp for recording.
PLAYERS: try a multi FX box. You dont have to use many sounds for it to be
practical. Heck, just a short slap delay with a "4x10 cabinet" model sounds
SO FINE!
Stay well
Play well
