I have done a bit of bluegrass jamming on guitar where it is difficult
enough to be heard over a banjo player with binary volume control. I have
not yet tried playing harp at a bluegrass jam. I am a bit concerned about
these volume issues. A players technique can be very much compromised if
he/she has to struggle to be heard. Any suggestions or experiences that
you care to pass along?
