Re: [Harp-L] Tobacco odor removal

Like I said the other day, unfold a McDonald's napkin and loosely wrap the item in it. Crimp the ends of the 'sausage' or put tape or a gum band on them. Lay the whole enchilada in a chafing dish and cover it with bicarbonate of soda. Let it sit in the sun for a day, bring it in and let it sit another 3 days. It should be fine. In extreme cases, use activated charcoal. I got mine from expired gas mask filters, but you can buy it at the aquarium supply store.

Ok, I think I just got the SM58 that matches the chromatic harp someone was
trying to find out how to clean, anyone have any ideas about how to remove
the odor and residue? I'm not sure I want to take it apart, but I'll do
what I have to. As an aside, I can hear the difference in sound between it
and my Fireball V and it does seem to cup a lot better, which is what I
wanted.
