I agree. Curtis is totally underrated and a transplant survivor, too.
His recordings do not highlight harmonica, as he has said he wanted to be known for his vocal prowess rather than his harp chops. However, when he plays harmonica, it is SOLID on these recordings. Live, he is even better.
A Pacific North West treasure, to be sure.
