I'd just like to clarify the intention of my post, which was in response to 
the idea of a "deluxe" GM model. I think if it were possible for Hohner to 
resurrect the nicest version of yellow brass, and use it to make additional 
special versions of a couple models (GM and MB), the result would appeal to 
a number of customers. I would certainly pay significantly more for harps 
with reeds made of this brass, and I suspect others would as well.

I agree with you Steve that it would be interesting to see what would happen 
with the combination of current profiles/yellow brass. I'm also not 
condemning the current reeds, although the squealing issues on lower draw 
bends occur too often. They are a big hassle that I hope may someday be 
corrected by Hohner.
