Coming from you, Rob, that means a ton. Really. (We met very briefly in Prague a few years back, btw, when the Blues Bros. Band and the band I was playing with at the time were on the same festival bill.)
You nailed it: It was second position, overblowing to hit - I think - the F#. I actually bought a brand new Special 20 for the gig, but couldn't get it fine-tuned in time, so I had to use an old beat Golden Melody*.
