No way! Look, I have a three octave instrument on which, without 
overbends, I can play all but 5 tones. That isn't much is it? Just 5 
tones out of 37.

But when you try to play a note in your head and you find it isn't 
there, it's a really big deal. I am totally used to being able to 
produce any tone in my 3 octaves. It would be a huge step backward if I 
lost that.
