Hi Nick,
It sounds like a great group of players and some solid material your puttin'
together and I wish you luck on your debut CD, looking forward to hearing
it!
IMO, I think Overblowing is here to stay, I don't care for MIMICS of any
style including Little Walter. Learn from the greats but make it YOURS....I
think you should keep this in mind while making your CD as well.
Can you clarify or give examples of what you means by "mimics of
overblowers, mixed into the blues scale" ? And how are they dying out?
I think Jason Ricci, Adam Gussow and Carlos Del Junco are doing just fine
and selling out shows and clinics.
