You're not by any chance drinking something without cleaning your mouth out before playing? something like soda... or coffee with sugar in it. It sounds like sugar buildup to me.

the slide of my chromonica 260 has become harder . I wash it really good with a toothbrush once per week .

Then it becomes a bit softer but only for one day maybe . Never like the brand new slide it used to be .

do you have any other suggestions ?
